titleOfInvention Substrate working machine and insertion method
abstract A component mounting machine provided with a holder for holding a leaded component (93), a moving device for moving the holder, and an image capture device that captures an image of the leaded component being held by the holder, wherein the leaded component (93) has a pair of leads (95) having different lengths. On the basis of image data of the leaded component provided by the image capture device, operation of the moving device is controlled, and, of the pair of leads of the leaded component being held by the holder, the tip-end portion of the longer lead (95a) is inserted into a through hole (200). Then, after the leaded component (93) has been moved so that the shorter lead (95b) is positioned above another through hole (200), the shorter lead is inserted into the through hole. That is, the pair of leads are inserted into the through holes in the order of increasing distance of the tip end from the circuit base material (12). In this way, even if a lead is bent, for example, a plurality of leads can be appropriately inserted into the through holes successively.
