abstract | The invention relates to a template and a method used for optimum planning of the surgery of dental implants and/or guided placement of a prosthesis on implants, where said template has marker elements (1) for marking the position of the future parts and a spatial reference system (3) such that once the template has been removably attached to the upper (4) and/or lower jaw (5) of the patient, both a radiological examination and a scan of the mouth of the patient are performed in order to obtain corresponding digital files which, once aligned, provide a three-dimensional digital image of the mouth of the patient, which has as close a resemblance to reality as possible, so that it can be used by the technician or prosthesis surgeon in the implantology planning. |
