abstract |
Provided is a battery packaging material that is less prone to developing pin holes and cracks during molding, and has excellent moldability. A battery packaging material at least provided with an aluminum alloy foil layer, wherein the average grain size is 10.0 μm or less in a cross section of the aluminum alloy foil layer in the thickness direction, said average grain size being the average value of the maximum diameter x of any 100 grains of an aluminum alloy located in the visual field of a scanning electron microscope, where the maximum diameter x is the linear distance between the leftmost end of the individual grains in a direction perpendicular to the thickness direction and the rightmost end of the individual grains in a direction perpendicular to the thickness direction. |
