abstract |
An electrolytic capacitor having a capacitor element (10) provided with an anode body having a dielectric layer formed on the surface, a solid-electrolyte layer provided on the dielectric layer and including a conductive polymer and a polymer dopant, and an electrolyte solution impregnated into the capacitor element (10) and containing a polyhydric alcohol and a boric acid ester, wherein the amount of water in the electrolyte solution is 0.1-3% by mass and the proportion of the borate ester included in the electrolyte solution is 2-60% by mass. Providing this configuration provides a high-reliability electrolytic capacitor with which it is possible to maintain low ESR for a long period of time. |
