abstract |
The present invention provides a method for producing hollow porous microspheres, comprising: a polymer solution production step which comprises dissolving a substance for inducing pore formation and a hydrophobic biodegradable polymer in a volatile solvent; a step for forming an oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion by dispersing the resulting polymer solution in an aqueous solution comprising water or a phase stabilizer; a hollow porous microsphere production step which comprises volatilizing the volatile solvent in the aqueous solution having the polymer solution dispersed therein so as to solidify the hydrophobic biodegradable polymer and causing voluntary phase separation between the hydrophobic biodegradable polymer and the substance for inducing pore formation so as to change an oil-phase polymer solution comprised in the oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion to oil-in-solid (O/S) microspheres; and a step for removing the substance for inducing pore formation comprised in the hollow porous microspheres. |
