abstract A power supply device provided with: first through third switches provided in series on an energization pathway channeling the energization current for first and second electrical loads, the first through third switches connecting or disconnecting the energization pathway; a first point provided on the opposite side from the second switch from among the two sides of the first switch; a second point provided between the first switch and the second switch; a third point provided between the second switch and the third switch; and a fourth point provided on the opposite side from the second switch from among the two sides of the third switch. A first storage cell, a second storage cell, a first electrical load, or a second electrical load is connected to each of the first through fourth points. The power supply device is provided with a control unit for controlling the opening/closing of each of the first through third switches.
