titleOfInvention Two-stroke-cycle internal combustion engine supplying air using air compressing device outside engine
abstract The present invention relates to a two-stroke-cycle internal combustion engine. More specifically, disclosed is a new two-stroke-cycle internal combustion engine that carries out air supply and scavenging using a separate air compressing device outside the engine, instead of the air supply-scavenging structure of an existing two-stroke-cycle internal combustion engine. According to the present invention, it is possible to stably and efficiently realize stratified lean burn by more accurately and completely controlling the amount and flow of air to be supplied into the engine according to the present invention, thereby enhancing the output capability and efficiency of the engine and reducing the emission of harmful gas, such as nitrogen oxide (NO x ), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO 2 ), blow-by gas, and the like, as well as the consumption of fuel. At the same time, by making the engine light and compact, it is possible to reduce the volume and weight of the engine and to reduce the manufacturing and operating costs of the engine.
