titleOfInvention | Method for producing organic pigment microparticles |
abstract | The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing organic pigment microparticles whereby growth and/or agglomeration of particles can be reliably suppressed. This method includes a step 1, wherein: an organic pigment raw material solution obtained by mixing a raw material of an organic pigment in a solvent, and a precipitation solvent for precipitating microparticles of the organic pigment from the organic pigment raw material solution are introduced into between at least two treatment surfaces 1, 2 that are disposed facing one another so as to be able to draw closer together or apart and at least one of which rotates relative to the other; a thin-film fluid is formed as a result of the foregoing and said solution and solvent are mixed in said fluid; and the microparticles of the organic pigment are precipitated. The method further includes a step 2, wherein at least some of the microparticles of the organic pigment are covered with an oxide coating. The oxide coating is optically colorless and transparent. Step 1 and step 2 are performed consecutively within the thin-film fluid. In the thin-film fluid, step 2 is completed in a predetermined time until the microparticles of the organic pigment grow after step 1. |
