titleOfInvention Endoscopic device
abstract This endoscopic device comprises: a spectral diffraction unit that is disposed on the optical axis of return light from a subject, and spectrally diffracts light in a first wavelength band including a visible light wavelength band, and causes the spectrally diffracted light to enter an image pickup element for white light observation, and further spectrally diffracts light in a second wavelength band other than the first wavelength band and emits the spectrally diffracted light in a direction different from that of the optical axis; a first excitation light cut-off filter that is disposed on the aforementioned optical axis between the subject and the spectral diffraction unit, and blocks the wavelength band(s) of first and/or second excitation light included in the return light, and emits the return light in wavelength bands other than those of the blocked wavelength band(s) to the spectral diffraction unit; and a second excitation light cut-off filter that is disposed on the optical axis of the light in the second wavelength band emitted from the spectral diffraction unit, and blocks the wavelength band of the visible light and the wavelength bands of the first and second excitation light which are not blocked by the first excitation cut-off filter, and emits light, in wavelength bands other than the blocked wavelength bands, to an image pickup element for fluorescence observation.
