titleOfInvention | Beijerinckia fluminensis bf 2806 bacterial strain, use thereof as a fertilizer and a biological control agent in preventing and/or treating plant diseases, and method of stimulating plant growth and protecting plants against diseases |
abstract | The invention relates to agricultural microbiology, in particular to Beijerinckia fluminensis Bf. 2806 bacterial strain (Russian National Collection of Industrial Microorganisms (VKPM) number B-12258) and a fertilizer based thereon. A fertilizer for growing agricultural crops is produced by multi-step fermentation of said strain in a Fedorov growth medium. The invention provides for a fertilizer which can be used to increase agricultural crop yields and to reduce the application rate of mineral nitrogen fertilizers when growing said crops. The invention also relates to the use of Beijerinckia fluminensis Bf. 2806 bacterial strain as a biological control agent for preventing and/or treating fungal diseases in plants. |
