titleOfInvention Prognosis method for renal cell cancer
abstract Provided is a fast, simple and precise cancer prognosis method. A method for assessing tissue which includes renal cell cancer, said method comprising: (1) a step in which a DNA sample is subjected to ion exchange chromatography, said DNA sample being obtained by treating a target genome DNA prepared from the kidney tissue of a subject, with hydrogen sulfite and then performing PCR amplification; (2) a step in which the differential value of the chromatography detection signal is calculated; (3) a step in which, if the differential value calculated in step (2) has two or more maximum values, the kidney tissue is assessed as being tissue which includes renal cell cancer for which the prognosis is unfavorable.
