titleOfInvention Polyphenylene sulfide resin composition and method for manufacturing same
abstract Provided is a polyphenylene sulfide resin composition, in which, when the sum of polyphenylene sulfide resins (a) to (c) is 100 wt%, the polyphenylene sulfide resin composition is obtained by blending 10 to 50 wt% in total of the polyphenylene sulfide resin (b) and/or polyphenylene sulfide resin (c) with respect to 90 to 50 wt% of the polyphenylene sulfide resin (a), the polyphenylene sulfide resin composition having a viscosity change rate of no greater than 1.5 times when heated for 5 hours at 320°C. A PPS resin composition is provided in which there is little change in viscosity during melt retention and little gas is generated during heating, which comprises: a polyphenylene sulfide resin (a), which is polyphenylene sulfide resin having a weight average molecular weight of 50,000 or more, having a ratio of weight loss when heated ΔWr, represented by formula (1), of no greater than 0.18%; a polyphenylene sulfide resin (b), which is polyphenylene sulfide resin having a weight average molecular weight of less than 50,000, in which the content of alkaline earth metals is less than 200 ppm, and the ratio of increase in molecular weight is 5.0% or less when 0.5 wt% of 2-(3,4-epoxycyclohexyl)ethyl trimethoxysilane is added and heated at 320°C for 10 minutes; and a polyphenylene sulfide resin (c), which is a polyphenylene sulfide resin in which the content of an alkali earth metal (d) is 200 to 800 ppm, having a ratio of weight loss when heated ΔWr, represented by formula (1), of greater than 0.18%. ΔWr = (W1-W2) / W1 × 100 (%) (1) (Here, ΔWr is the ratio of weight loss (%), which is a value found from the sample weight (W1) when 100°C is reached and the sample weight (W2) when 330°C is reached, when subjected to thermogravimetric analysis at a heating rate of 20°C/minute in a non-oxidizing atmosphere at normal pressure.)
