titleOfInvention Cell culture apparatus
abstract Provided is a cell culture apparatus which enables the construction of cultured cells under an environment that is closer to that for a living organism. The cell culture apparatus is provided with: a culturing base member (11) which has a culturing surface (11a) on which cells S are to be cultured; and a driving unit (12) which permits an operation of opening/closing the culturing base member (11) between a closed state and an opened state. In the cell culture apparatus, the closed state is a state in which the culturing base member (11) can form a flow path having such an internal volume that the culturing surface (11a) serves as an inner surface of the flow path, and the opened state is a state in which the culturing surface (11a) of the culturing base member (11) is opened to the outside relative to the culturing surface (11a) of the culturing base member (11) in the closed state.
