abstract |
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a method for evaluating whether cells are effective in the treatment of diseases, and the like, associated with intracellular mitochondrial dysfunction and a reduction in mitochondrial activity, and in the amelioration of symptoms associated with aging and the like; high-performance cells judged to be effective by this method; and a method for obtaining a drug capable of inducing such high-performance cells. The present invention is a cell evaluation method for evaluating a cell using, as the indicator, the capability of mitochondrial transference to other cells. Further, mitochondrial activity is preferred as the indicator. The mitochondrial activity is at least one selected from the group consisting of mitochondrial dehydrogenase activity, mitochondrial content, and mitochondrial membrane potential. |
