abstract |
An electrode for electrolysis according to an embodiment comprises: an electrode substrate having a plurality of through holes; a plurality of first recesses that are open at a surface of the electrode substrate; and second recesses that are open at the other surface and have a larger area than the first recesses, the number of second recesses being fewer than the number of first recesses. At least some of the through holes communicate between the first recesses and the second recesses. When the minimum opening diameter passing through the center of the opening of each through hole is W and the minimum distance between an end of the minimum opening diameter passing through the center of a through hole and an end of the minimum opening diameter passing through the center of an adjacent through hole is F, F/W is 0.6-1.5 and F is 0.1-0.8 mm. |
