abstract | The present invention pertains to a polarizing plate that includes a polarizer, a first protection film disposed on one surface of the polarizer, and a second protection film disposed on the other surface of the polarizer, wherein the polarizing plate is characterized in that: the polarizer measures 3‒15 μm in film thickness; the first protection film and the second protection film are subjected to a surface treatment, and the first protection film or second protection film has a surface energy of 70‒90 mN/m following the surface treatment, as measured by the Owens method; and the difference in the surface energies of the surface-treated first protection film and second protection film is at least 5 mN/m. |
