titleOfInvention Composition based on extracts of heliopsis longipes and propolis for the control and/or elimination of ticks
abstract The invention relates to an insecticide composition based on natural extracts for the control and/or elimination of ticks in livestock and/or in domestic animals, characterised by comprising: a) 50 to 65% Heliopsis logipes extract; b) 5 to 20% propolis extract; and c) 30% dermal application vehicle, all of which must add up to 100%. The mixture of the composition has a synergetic effect guaranteeing the control of adults, nymphs, pupae, larvae and eggs, in particular in adult females, by altering their capacity for ovipositioning and also affecting the possibility of the eggs hatching and the survival of the larvae, in particular for all the ticks of veterinary importance of the Ixodidae family and the Argasidae family.
