abstract The present invention relates to a novel alpha-1,3-glucanase (α-1,3-glucanase) and, more specifically, to a novel alpha-1,3-glucanase derived from Trichoderma harzianum, a gene encoding same, a recombinant vector containing the gene, a recombinant microorganism, and a method for preparing an alpha-1,3-glucanase by using the recombinant microorganism. The novel alpha-1,3-glucanase according to the present invention can effectively break down mutan, a component of a microorganism biofilm, and thus be used in oral hygiene products and the medical field.
