abstract | The present invention is: a method for promoting extracellular matrix production in cultured cells, the method being characterized by bringing cells that are being cultured into contact with an alicyclic structure-containing polymer molding; a method for culturing cells, the method being characterized by bringing cells that are being cultured into contact with an alicyclic structure-containing polymer molding, and promoting extracellular matrix production by the cultured cells; and an agent for promoting extracellular matrix production in cultured cells, the agent being composed of an alicyclic structure-containing polymer molding. According to the present invention, increasing the amount of extracellular matrix produced by cells makes it possible to increase the amount of protein expressed by foreign protein-producing cells without the use of a culture vessel coated with extracellular matrix. |
