titleOfInvention | Method for determining a relative frequency of various genes or chromosomes of a genome in a sample |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for determining a relative frequency of various genes and/or chromosomes of a genome, from which genome DNA in a sample originates, wherein at least one specific segment (13-1 to 21-4) of the DNA of each of the various genes and/or chromosomes is amplified in a common amplification step, wherein the amplified specific segments (13-1 to 21-4) of the DNA each have a fixed length. The at least one amplified specific segment (13-1 to 21-4) of the DNA of each of the various genes and/or chromosomes is marked with a luminescence marker. The amplified specific segments (13-1 to 21-4) of the DNA of the various genes and/or chromosomes are separated by electrophoresis. A light amount of the luminescence light of the luminescence marker is measured separately for the DNA of each of the various genes and/or chromosomes; and the relative frequency of the various genes and/or chromosomes of the genome is determined from ratios of the light amounts measured separately for the DNA of each of the various genes and/or chromosomes. |
