abstract This invention comprises a composition, its use in treatment of cognitive disorders and a method of treatment of cognitive disorders in human subjects in need thereof comprising administering a composition for use in treatment of cognitive disorders, wherein the composition comprise at least: (a) an edible oil comprising some triglycerides having docosahexaenoic acid moiety (DHA), (b) an emulsifier, and (c) at least an extract of each of the following plant species: Centella asiatica L., Bacopa monnieri L., Moringa oleifera Lamk., Benincasa hispida Thunb. and Cynodon dactylon L.. The composition may further comprise an extract of each of following plant species: Convolvulus pluricaulis Choisy., Celastrus paniculata Willd., Acorus calamus L and, Nardostachys jatamansi (D.Don) DC.. The edible oil may be a DHA rich microbial oil such as DHA rich algal oil or a fish oil. The cognitive disorders include ADHD (Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity disorder), ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder).
