abstract | Disclosed are a standard thyroid gland hormone solution, the lot-to-lot uniformity of the function of which can be easily achieved, and a method for forming a calibration curve in an immunoassay using the standard thyroid gland hormone solution. The standard thyroid gland hormone solution contains thyroid gland hormones and cyclodextrin or a derivative thereof in a buffer solution. The method for forming a calibration curve comprises: preparing a plurality of standard thyroid gland hormone solutions each containing a known concentration of thyroid gland hormones and cyclodextrin or a derivative thereof in a buffer solution, the concentrations of thyroid gland hormones in said solutions differing from solution to solution; subjecting the individual standard thyroid gland hormone solutions to an immunoassay; and then forming a calibration curve on the basis of a relationship between the concentrations of thyroid gland hormones contained in the individual standard thyroid gland hormone solutions and immunoassay signals. |
