abstract | The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an expression vector capable of expressing, with higher expression efficiency, a protein derived from an exogenous structural gene through genetic engineering by using a yeast belonging to the genus Schizosaccharomyces as a host; a cloning vector for creating the expression vector; a method for manufacturing the expression vector; a transformant having an expression cassette of the expression vector; a method for manufacturing the transformant; and a protein production method using the transformant. This cloning vector is characterized by having a promoter that can function in a yeast belonging to the genus Schizosaccharomyces, a cloning site located downstream of the promoter and for introducing an exogenous structural gene to be controlled by the promoter, and a terminator included in the ihc2 gene of the yeast belonging to the genus Schizosaccharomyces. The expression vector is characterized by having the promoter, the exogenous structural gene, and the terminator included in the ihc2 gene. |
