Provided are: a farnesene polymer which includes a farnesene-derived monomeric unit (a), for which the radius of gyration (<r g n 2 > 1/2 ) and absolute molecular weight (M) in a dilute solution of tetrahydrofuran obtained by size-exclusion chromatography-multi angle light scattering methodology satisfy formula (1); and a method for producing the farnesene polymer by emulsion polymerization of the monomer (X) including the farnesene such that the rate of polymerization is 60% or higher. log{<r g n 2 > 1/2 }=αlog(M)+β (1) (In formula (1), α is a positive constant of less than 0.5 and β is a constant.) |
