titleOfInvention Heat recovery apparatus
abstract The present application relates to an apparatus and a method for recovering heat. According to the apparatus and the method for recovering heat of the present application: a use amount of high-temperature steam, which is an external heat source to be used in a reactor or a distillation column, can be reduced, thereby maximizing energy saving efficiency since steam can be generated by using a low quality heat source, lower than 100°C, which is discharged from an industrial site or various chemical processes such as a process for preparing a petrochemical product, instead of discarding the low quality heat source, and the generated steam can be used in various processes; at least two or more refrigerant flows can be heat exchanged with waste heat flow since one refrigerant flow is divided and circulated by a cascade; and the pressure of refrigerant flows flowing in a compressor can be controlled so as to be relatively high compared with a heat recovery apparatus using a single refrigerant flow, such that the amount of energy needed during compressing in the compressor can be reduced.
