abstract Method for observing a sample (10) including a step of illuminating the sample with a light source and recording, with a photodetector (16), a plurality of images, the images representing the light transmitted by the sample in various spectral bands. From each image, a complex amplitude representative of the light wave transmitted by the sample in a given spectral band is determined. The method, which is iterative, then comprises: back-propagating each complex amplitude to a plane of the sample; calculating a weighting function from a weighted sum of the back-propagated complex amplitudes; propagating said weighting function to the plane of the photodetector; updating each complex amplitude, in the plane of the sample, depending on the weighting function thus propagated.
