abstract | The invention relates to a method for generating a circular polarization signal from at least two transponders of a satellite (SAT) suitable for processing linearly polarized signals, including: - transmitting at least two linearly polarized signal components (VP1, HP1) so as to produce a circularly polarized signal by means of at least two transponders of a satellite (SAT); - processing the signals by means of the two transponders (T1, T2) of the satellite (SAT) so as to produce circular polarization of the signals transmitted by the satellite (SAT); - ground-reception by means of at least one circularly polarized antenna (RHCP, LHCP); - measuring a physical parameter on the basis of the received signals and determining a correction parameter to be applied to the generation of the linearly polarized signal components (VP1, HP1); and - generating compensation of the components of the linearly polarized signals transmitted to the satellite. |
