abstract The present invention relates to a probe for detecting bacteria using peptidoglycan-binding protein, and a method for manufacturing same. Or, the present invention relates to a method for detecting bacteria using the probe. The probe for detecting bacteria, according to the present invention, can specifically detect bacteria. That is, the probe according to the present invention can clearly distinguish between yeast and bacteria and can detect all of gram-negative or gram-positive bacteria, and thus is expected to be capable of being used in various fields as a widely-used probe for detecting bacteria. Further, bacteria can be detected by checking only fluorescence color development or non-color development, without a separate enzymatic treatment, thereby enabling simple and fast bacteria detection. Especially, the probe is expected to be effectively used in the food industry where quick bacteria detection is required.
