abstract |
[Problem] To provide a rubber composition that uses a cycloolefin ring-opened copolymer, that is excellent in terms of cost and production properties, and that makes it possible to improve workability and low heat generation properties. [Solution] A rubber composition according to the present invention comprises: a cycloolefin ring-opened copolymer containing a structural unit derived from cyclopentene and a structural unit derived from cyclooctadiene; and a styrene-butadiene copolymer. The content of the structural unit derived from cyclopentene is 50-99 mol% and the content of the structural unit derived from cyclooctadiene is 50-1 mol% among all of the repeating units of the cycloolefin ring-opened copolymer. The weight ratio of the cycloolefin ring-opened copolymer and the styrene-butadiene copolymer (cycloolefin ring-opened copolymer/styrene-butadiene copolymer) is 5/95 to 95/5. |
