abstract |
Provided is a battery packaging material that allows the permeation of moisture into the battery to be suppressed effectively, and the costs of battery production to be reduced. The battery packaging material comprises a laminated film including at least a metal layer and a thermally fusible resin layer, the metal layer having pinholes present therein. When A is the surface area of the outer surface of the battery packaging material when a battery element is sealed with the battery packaging material, and B is the total surface area of the pinholes present in the metal layer of the battery packaging material, the value B/A is 3 × 10 -6 or less. |
