abstract An aluminum melting furnace, according to the present invention, comprises: a heating chamber that includes a heating unit for heating molten aluminum; and a melting chamber that includes a vortex unit that generates a vortex that moves down to the molten metal while swirling, a flux supply unit that introduces a flux into the vortex, and a raw-material supply unit that introduces aluminum scraps into the vortex. According to the present invention, spherical black dross is formed by aggregating black dross, which a flux generates by selectively trapping non-metal inclusions, in a spherical form through the vortex, thereby making it possible to reduce the amount of aluminum metal included in the black dross. In addition, it is possible to reduce the cost required for reprocessing dross since a separate dross reprocessing process for retrieving the aluminum contained in the dross is not necessary.
