titleOfInvention Apparatus for atrial arrhythmia episode detection
abstract Techniques and devices for implementing the techniques for identifying noise within a sensing window associated with a cardiac event are described. A implantable medical device may include a plurality of electrodes configured to sense the cardiac signal and a processor configured to determine a sensing window associated with at least one cardiac event in the sensed cardiac signal. The sensing window includes a first portion and a second portion. The processor determines a first derivative signal of the cardiac signal within the sensing window, determines a second derivative signal of the cardiac signal within the sensing window, and identifies a noise event within the sensing window based on an analysis of the first and second derivative signals.
