abstract |
The invention relates to malto-oligosaccharides having an α-1,4 osidic bond content of between 70 % and 80 % of the total number of 1,4-type osidic bonds. The invention also relates to the method for producing said malto-oligosaccharides. Said malto-oligosaccharides offer all the advantages of fibre-based food, with an extremely low nutritional value. Such a compromise is not only particularly interesting in healthy and balanced diets, but also in the treatment and/or prevention of the pathology of diabetes. The invention further relates to the use of said malto-oligosaccharides in the fields of human and animal nutrition. |
