In the present invention, a line head type inkjet image formation method is executed by discharging, to a recording medium, a gel ink at a first printing rate of less than 100%, the method for causing newly discharged gel ink dots to merge with gel ink dots that have already landed on the recording medium. The Gel ink has a specific content of a polymer dispersant in respect to coloring material in a gel ink, and a specific contact angle in respect to the recording medium. The gel ink is discharged from a nozzle so as to form a slightly large specific dot diameter, in accordance with the resolution of an image to be formed. |
