[Problem] To provide: a polymerizable composition that has high brightness and suppresses brightness reduction in a peripheral region when used in a wavelength conversion member; a wavelength conversion member; a backlight unit; and a liquid crystal display device. [Solution] Provided is a polymerizable composition, containing quantum dots on the surface of which ligands are coordinated, a polymerizable compound, and a dispersant, wherein: the ligands are molecules comprising saturated hydrocarbon chains with atomic numbers of at least 6 and coordinated groups; the LogP value of the polymerizable compound is 3.0 or less; the dispersant comprises non-polar sites and polar sites in the molecule; and the non-polar sites are at least one chosen from the group consisting of saturated hydrocarbon chains with atomic numbers of at least 6, aromatic rings, and saturated aliphatic rings. Also provided are: a wavelength conversion member; a backlight unit; and a liquid crystal display device. |
