abstract A blood pressure detection device comprises an inflation/deflation device, a cuff and a pressure gauge, and further comprises: a sound input device (12), located in the cuff, and configured to monitor a sound of pulse beats of a living body, and send the monitored sound to a controller (14); the controller (14), connected to the sound input device (12), configured to receive the sound, and record a pressure value detected by a pressure sensor (16) when the sound satisfies a pre-set condition, to obtain a blood pressure value; and the pressure sensor (16), connected to the controller (14), configured to detect a pressure value of the pressure gauge and send the detected pressure value to the controller (14). The device reduces the difficulty of using a mercury column type blood pressure detector and improves the accuracy of blood pressure measurement.
