Nucleic acid molecule encoding gle1 protein variant having increased phytic acid sensitivity, and use thereof |
abstract |
The present invention relates to: a nucleic acid molecule encoding a Gle1 protein variant comprising the following phytic acid-binding pocket; a protein to be encoded by the nucleic acid molecule; and a method for using the nucleic acid molecule. The Gle1 protein variant of the present invention has increased phytic acid sensitivity in a plant, thereby having an effect of greatly increasing vegetative growth, seed yield, seed vigor and non-biological stress resistance of a plant even in a plant containing a low phytic acid level. Therefore, high-yield low-phytic acid crops can be grown by using the nucleic acid molecule of the present invention. |
