abstract |
An embodiment addresses the problem of providing a nonaqueous electrolyte battery and a battery pack that can achieve higher energy density and lower resistance in a bipolar battery wherein a positive electrode active material layer is formed on one plate surface of a current collector and negative electrode active material on the other plate surface of the same. A nonaqueous electrolyte battery 60 is provided with a bipolar electrode 11 and a nonaqueous electrolyte layer 7. A bipolar battery 11 has a current collector 3, positive electrode active material layer 4 formed on one surface of the current collector 3, and negative electrode active material layer 5 formed on the other surface of the current collector 3. The bipolar electrode 11 is divided into a plurality of sections of a prescribed length in one direction, and the divided sections 8 are folded over and stacked by alternately bending each portion between the divided sections in order. |
