titleOfInvention Preparation for stimulation of improvement in milk and solid feed assimilation, enhancing weight gain in calves and method of administering the preparation
abstract The invention solves the issue of adapting the gastro-intestinal tract of a calf for effective feed intake, particularly in the case of production of the so-called white meat, that is it minimizes the problems associated with feeding with milk or milk replacement preparations only. The essence of the invention involves use of a mixture of pancreatic profile enzymes selected from a protease, an amylase and a lipase with highly dispersed silicon dioxide, alpha-ketoglutaric acid or salts thereof, with organic acids or salts thereof selected from butyric acid, fumaric acid, malic acid, citric acid, sorbic acid in order to aid and regulate digestive processes in calves and to improve the absorption capability for nutritional ingredients of feed, particularly in the case of feeding with milk or milk replacement preparations only. As a result, the possibility of effects accompanying calf rearing, such as diarrhea, poor gains, unsatisfactory feed utilization, lack of appetite, susceptibility to infections, is minimized.
