abstract The invention relates to an emulsified- or micro-encapsulated-type fungicidal formulation containing extracts of grape marc or pomace and corresponding to a system comprising two phases: an oil phase consisting of concentrated extract of grape marc polyphenols, and an aqueous phase consisting of one or more encapsulating agents selected from the group containing gum arabic, ester gum, propyl cellulose, butyl cellulose, Capsul, Purity Gum 2000, Purity Gum Ultra or Purity Gum BE. According to the invention, the concentration of the oil phase can vary between 1 and 5.000 ppm and the concentration of the aqueous phase can vary between 1 and 20 wt.-%, and the oil phase and the aqueous phase are present in proportions in the range from 2 to 90 wt.-%. The formulation also comprises one or more emulsifying and/or stabilising agents, which are present in concentrations in the range from 0.1 to 20 wt.-% and 0 to 20 wt.-% of the aqueous phase respectively. The invention also relates to the use of the formulation for controlling an infestation by Botrytis cinerea in plants, parts of said plants or the fruits thereof, which formulation can be sprinkled in the form of an aqueous suspension onto the surface of the leaves and/or fruits of the plant to be protected. The invention further relates to the method for producing the formulation.
