abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for producing a copolymer having a high oil absorption by separating the solvent from a copolymer solution containing the copolymer in a simple manner with a less energy consumption. The process, which is for producing a copolymer by separating the solvent from a copolymer solution, comprises the following steps A to C.nStep (A) in which the solid concentration (Ts) of the copolymer solution is regulated to a value within the range of 5≤Ts≤60 in terms of mass%; step (B) in which the copolymer solution obtained in the step (A) is heated to a temperature (T) (ºC) within a specific range; and step (C) in which the copolymer solution heated in the step (B) is ejected from a specific nozzle at a linear velocity of 1-100 m/sec to separate the solvent in a 0-200ºC inert gas stream. |
