Provided is a method for selectively separating with high purity a straight-chain conjugated diene from a mixture containing the straight-chain conjugated diene and at least one type of straight-chain olefin, the method characterized in separating the straight-chain conjugated diene from the mixture containing a straight-chain conjugated diene and at least one type of straight-chain olefin using a zeolite membrane composite having a support body and a zeolite layer formed in the pores and on the surface of the porous support body, the zeolite containing an alkali metal as a cation. |
