abstract |
The present invention provides a means for improving cycle durability in an electrical device such as a lithium-ion secondary cell. In the present invention, a silicon-containing alloy is used as a negative-electrode active material of an electrical device, the silicon-containing alloy having a peak surface-area ratio S1 (Amo-Si)/S1(Cry-Si) of 3 or more between the peak surface area S1 (Cry-Si) of crystalline silicon having a peak at 500 cm -1 in a Raman spectrum, and the peak surface area S1 (Amo-Si) of amorphous silicon having a peak at 450 cm -1 in a Raman spectrum. |
