The present invention concerns an emulsion that contains no emulsifying surfactant, in particular an oil-in-water emulsion that contains no emulsifying surfactant, characterised by the fact that it comprises, in particular in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least composite particles comprising a core comprising at least organic or inorganic particles A; said core being covered, on the surface, continuously or discontinuously, by a shell comprising at least organic or inorganic particles B; said particles A and B having different polarities. The present invention also concerns the use of the composite particles as previously defined as a emulsion stabiliser, in particular as an emulsion stabiliser that contains no emulsifying surfactant, and more particularly as a stabiliser of an oil-in-water emulsion that contains no emulsifying surfactant. The present invention also concerns a method for the cosmetic treatment of a keratinous material, consisting of applying an emulsion as previously defined onto the keratinous material. |
