abstract The invention relates to a device for releasing volatile substances which comprises a container (3) containing the volatile substances which is disposed in a fixed position, and means of generating an air flow in order to release the volatile substances. The device is characterized in that the means of generating an air flow comprise: a movable body (1), the movement of which generates the air flow; at least one magnet (2) disposed in the movable body (1); and means of generating magnetic flux (4, 5), actuation of which causes the displacement of the movable body (1) by means of the repulsion force between the at least one magnet (2) in the movable body (1) and the magnetic flux. The invention enables energy consumption to be improved by using magnetically assisted periodic low-consumption actuation.
