abstract A cooling assembly (100), comprising: one or more panels (110, 120, 140) affixed together to form the cooling assembly (100), at least a portion of the one or more panels comprising an exterior material layer (202), an interior material layer (208), and an absorbent material layer (214) maintained between the exterior material layer (202) and the interior material layer (208), wherein the cooling assembly (100) is configured to at least partially cover a head area of a user when the cooling assembly (100) is worn. The absorbent material layer (214) retains cold water. When worn by a user, the cooling assembly (100) holds the cold water to the head of the user, cooling the user.
