A liquid crystal display element, and a method of manufacturing the same, is provided which is not prone to the occurrence of drip marks during manufacturing and does not lead to a worsening of burn-in characteristics of the liquid crystal element, or of various liquid crystal display element characteristics such as dielectric anisotropy, viscosity, nematic phase maximum temperature, rotational viscosity (γ 1 ), etc. Further, this invention makes it possible to manufacture a liquid crystal display element which has excellent high-speed responsiveness as a liquid crystal display element, stable orientation and pre-tilt angle of the liquid crystal molecules, minimal occurrence of burn-in, and minimal occurrence of drip marks during manufacturing. The liquid crystal display element manufactured according to this invention can be used effectively as a display element in liquid crystal televisions, monitors, etc. |
