Provided are a hydroxyacyl-coenzyme A dehydrogenase gene and an acyl-coenzyme A thiolase gene, and a genetically-engineered bacteria and a use thereof. The hydroxyacyl-coenzyme A dehydrogenase gene encodes a protein (i) or (ii) as follows: (i) has an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO: 2; and (ii) is a protein derived by substituting, deleting or superposing one or more amino acids in the amino acid sequence defined by (i) and has the same function as that of the protein of (i). A mycobacteria genetically-engineered bacteria with deletion of the hydroxyacyl-coenzyme A dehydrogenase gene or acyl-coenzyme A thiolase gene is constructed, and used for preparing steroidal compounds such as 1,4-BNA, 4-BNA, 9-OH-BNA, etc. |
