abstract This data creation device (7), together with a laser machining device (1), makes up a laser machining system (100), and is employed to create scribed circle data (D) for the purpose of drawing an index pattern on the surface of a test piece (W) by a laser beam (L) from the laser machining device (1). The data creation device (7), through a creation parameter input window (80), receives input of a creation parameter pertaining to machining of the test piece (W) in a scribed circle test (S2); and on the basis of the inputted creation parameter and stored content in a database (75D), creates scribed circle data (D) comprising an index pattern suited to the particulars of the scribed circle test (S3, S7, S9), thereby enhancing convenience in relation to creation of laser marker data.
