The present invention addresses the problem of finding a new substance capable of maintaining stem cells in an undifferentiated state while efficiently promoting the growth thereof, and providing said substance as an agent for maintaining stem cells in an undifferentiated state or as an agent for promoting the growth thereof. The present invention also addresses the problem of providing an inexpensive and highly safe wound healing agent that has a skin wound healing effect, and can be easily utilized in the fields of skin regeneration medicine and beauty care. The present invention is an agent for maintaining stem cells in an undifferentiated state, an agent for promoting the growth thereof, or a wound healing agent, and contains, as an active ingredient, a mixture of one or more fatty acid glycerides represented by general formula (I) (in the formula, at least one of R 1 , R 2 , and R 3 is an acyl group derived from a C16-22 unsaturated fatty acid, and the remainder are a hydrogen atom or an acyl group derived from a saturated fatty acid). |
